Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is an energy draining illness that leaves a person so tired they can not easily function in day to day activities. Is there something that can be done about this life draining illness?
Let's look at what some of the experts have to say and see if there is a natural approach to attaining Chronic Fatigue Syndrome relief.
I am very familiar with having my energy levels drop down to the point where you can not even hold a job or do the activities that you like to do. I had allergies that put me out of elementary school for almost half a year because I was sick! Even as a teenager I struggled with a lack of energy. All the doctors I went to said it was allergies and I started taking allergy shots and it did help, but it never solved the problem.
It was not until my grandfather got me interested in herbs that I started seeing a gamma aminobutyric acid at the end of the tunnel. I did great deal of research before I used any type of herbal medicine. If you get the wrong product and it is prepared the wrong way, then you will not see the results. Unfortunately, not all herbal companies produce a well manufactured product.
What causes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)? Below is what the the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are saying about CFS:
The etiology and pathophysiology of CFS are unknown, yet studies have suggested an involvement of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Speculation about the possibility that sudden onset CFS might have an infectious disease onset, while gradual onset CFS may be triggered by factors such as physical environment or stress. - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
A common pathogen that can cause acute respiratory or gastrointestinal infections, known as enterovirus, may be linked to chronic fatigue syndrome. Researchers obtained stomach biopsies from 165 chronic fatigue syndrome patients. According to the study results published online September 13, 2007 in the Journal of Clinical Pathology, 82 percent of the samples contained enterovirus protein.
Although a single infectious agent does not cause chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and the epidemiology does not suggest a contagious etiology, some people develop CFS following acute infections, and newly discovered infectious agents may be associated with the illness. - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Unfortunately, no one really knows what causes chronic fatigue syndrome. Often it occurs following a flu, cold, or viral infection. It can start during or after a period of high physical or emotional stress.
With my allergies I had to deal with a compromised immune system and it may be very possible that with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, a person is dealing with a weakened immune system. My allergy symptoms were similar to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I was tired all the time and I did have muscle pain. It was a living nightmare and frustrating, because I would sleep in and I was still tired! If one of the causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a weak immune system, then herbal therapy may help. Again, this is only my conjecture and should not be taken as factual information. I have used herbs, such as habanero peppers, echinacea and astragalus to effectively boost my immune system. The key is where you buy the herbs from and how you use them.
I am not saying that using herbs is the answer to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome relief, but I will say that herbs helped me maintain a stronger immune system and my allergies have been held in check for over 10 years now. What if herbs bring some Chronic Fatigue Syndrome relief? Through my research I have read about people recovering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome by using an all-natural diet (organic fresh fruits and vegetables), herbs (cleansing and dextox), and gentle exercise. Of course, there may be much more to bringing one's health back and what works for one person, may not work for another. If this brings Chronic Fatigue Syndrome suffers relief, then it is certainly worth investigating further.
Cleansing and dextoxifing the body may be helpful in dealing with immunity issues. For example: Many people have been revitalived by cleansing their colons, livers and blood by using herbs, they continue to build up their body with fresh organic produce. Such powerful nutrients as spirulina, fresh organic vegetables, fresh organic fruits, an ultra vitamin B-12 combined with the B complex (liquid form), and brisk walking may improve anyone's health. Hot peppers (cayenne and habanero) are super powerful foods to kick start the immune system and improve the efficacy of other nutrients!
If you plan to visit a practitioner, it is recommended that you choose one who is licensed by a recognized national organization and who abides by the organization's standards. It is always best to speak with your primary health care provider before starting any new therapeutic technique.
